Today I ate too much food, laughed just enough, and decided I could never keep a food journal.

Today I ate unhealthy.

I smiled. I laughed.

I ate greasy pizza, a candy bar, a cookie, and a brownie ice cream sundae. I drank sweet tea and a strawberry daiquiri flavored SoBe. & I didn't even care. =) So I think my food journal officially died after only one committed day. The first day went great, then Easter, then stress from tests, and now just the need to enjoy my last few weeks at college with all my friends. I don't think I'll mourn it's passing.

Court, Danielle, and I went to dinner. We laughed and talked about everything. Tattoos, piercings, jerks, coaches, goals, where life will take us all when we get out of this small town.

While we were laughing I decided I don't really care where life takes us, as long as there is always time for a good run and good times with my friends.

Summmer.

Summer is rapidly approaching.

So what do I want to do this summer?

I want to:
  • run
  • golf
  • bike
  • walk
  • do yoga
  • read a lot of books
  • sleep in my hammock
  • go camping
  • vacation
  • swim
  • train
I would also like to save my money for a snowboard and possibly a set of golf clubs. I would need the set of clubs so I could go golfing. Ironic? isnt' it.

I would also like to lose a little weight. Vain. But I really would like to.

Either way it always makes me feel confident about the choices I'm making and the person I am becoming.

Food Diary Day One?

I just read this article that basically said if you are trying to eat healthier then should keep a food diary so you are accountable for what you eat. Also if you record what you eat you can observe patterns in your diet.

So Day One so far...

Breakfast: Frosted Mini Wheats + 2% Milk

Lunch: 6inch Meatball/Pepperoni Sub on Wheat w/ Mozz cheese, Sweet Tea, 1/2 bag of Sunchips (the little bag that comes with your meal.... I don't know how big it is. Lol)

Afternoon: Bottle of Water + two hand fulls of sunflower seeds.

My blog is starving for attention.

My poor blogger account.

Between twitter, tumblr, and facebook, I sometimes forget to post things on here.

So what is new.... so that I'll have something to write.

I work my days away scouting for trees and wasp habitats.

I spend my evening running and on the phone.

Thus is the summer life of a college student with a summer job.
